In the early 90’s, a few cats from Los Angeles, CA decided that it was a good time to pick up some brass and wingtips, get on stage, and re-introduce the world to swing music in a whole new way. The birth of Gangsta Bop, on an album so-named, was released to the masses in 1991 by Royal Crown Revue. This episode of Club Topsy Radio is a celebration of a musical style that spawned a new genre and interest that still lives today.
